• The patient must swallow a capsule that is the size of a regular medication capsule. The capsule is completely harmless and remains in the body until it is naturally excreted. During its journey through the digestive tract, the capsule captures 2 to 6 images per second. The data recording system, which transmits the images, is about the size of a small shoulder bag and does not interfere with the patient’s usual daily activities.
