How to prepare for examinations
The most important thing is to take care of your health every single day!
It is important to avoid upper respiratory infections. Please note: if you are experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms, your examination will be declined.
If you have been prescribed regular medications, please continue taking them on the morning of the procedure—unless you have received different instructions from your treating physician or the GASTRO CENTRS staff.
It is recommended to wear comfortable clothing that is easy to change out of.
The scheduled endoscopic examination may be cancelled in the following cases:
-
- if you have undergone an acute or elective surgery within the last month prior to the scheduled procedure;
- if you have experienced an acute cardiovascular event (myocardial infarction, stroke) or undergone an acute or elective coronary revascularization procedure (such as stent placement or bypass surgery) within the last six months prior to the scheduled endoscopic examination;
If you have any questions or uncertainties, please contact the GASTRO CENTRS Customer Service by emailing [email protected] or calling 66901212.
